Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex computational problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at global conferences
- Collaborate with government agencies on national quantum security initiatives
- Drive commercialization of quantum technologies through patent development
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics and computational theory

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical mechanics
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to secure research grants or industry partnerships
- Knowledge of post-quantum cryptography standards (NIST PQC project)
