Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Lead experimental validation of quantum error correction protocols on superconducting qubit platforms
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop fault-tolerant quantum architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through NSF and DoD quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory and computational complexity
- Develop open-source quantum software libraries for the 2026 quantum ecosystem
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm design or quantum error correction research
- Expertise in superconducting qubit manipulation and quantum circuit optimization
