Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Lead hardware-software integration projects with quantum processors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define 2026 quantum roadmap
- Publish research in Nature/Science and present at international conferences
- Secure $5M+ in government/industry research grants
- Mentor PhD researchers and manage lab operations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Expertise in quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, ion trap)
- Strong background in linear algebra and computational complexity
- Track record of securing NSF/DARPA grants
