Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols
- Conduct experimental quantum simulations using IBM Quantum Experience and D-Wave systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error-correction techniques for quantum processors
- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature Physics and IEEE Transactions
- Present findings at quantum computing summits including Q2B and IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with quantum annealing solvers (D-Wave, etc.)
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical implementations
