Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for 100+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-optimized algorithms
- Author peer-reviewed publications and contribute to open-source quantum SDKs
- Collaborate with hardware teams to calibrate superconducting qubit arrays
- Secure $1M+ in government grants for quantum research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum conferences
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing
