Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in drug discovery and materials science
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Optimize qubit coherence times using error correction techniques
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise clients
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Secure patents for novel quantum hardware interfaces
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum simulators (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithm design or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Track record of translating theoretical models into functional prototypes
- Security clearance preferred for government-funded projects
