Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Lead research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Develop simulation frameworks for quantum-classical hybrid computing
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and secure government/private funding
- Participate in cross-functional projects with AI and cybersecurity teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming experience
- Proficiency in quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Passion for ethical AI and quantum governance
