Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Publish research in leading quantum computing journals and conferences
- Lead cross-functional projects with AI and materials science divisions
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, QCE)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel programming
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental implementations
