Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error-correction protocols for quantum processors
- Lead research initiatives in quantum supremacy applications for finance and pharmaceutical industries
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at premier conferences (QIP, IEEE Quantum Week)
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation sprints
- Secure research grants and partnerships with national laboratories
- Develop quantum-safe cybersecurity frameworks for 2026 infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments and parallel programming
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex analysis
- Experience with cloud-based quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
