Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization problems
- Lead prototyping of quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
- Develop performance benchmarks for quantum-classical hybrid systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Publication record in quantum computing or cryptography
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Ability to translate complex concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
