Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum computing infrastructure architectures capable of supporting 1,000+ qubit operations by 2026
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical system integration frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant system design
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize cryogenic control systems and quantum interconnects
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography implementations
- Create predictive models for quantum system performance optimization
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum systems engineering best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm implementation
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and quantum-specific frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience leading complex technical projects with cross-functional teams
