Job Description
Shape the future of computing as a Quantum Infrastructure Engineer at Nexus Dynamics. We're pioneering the next generation of quantum-safe networks and require visionary engineers to design, deploy, and maintain revolutionary quantum communication systems. Join our Austin-based R&D hub where you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and industry disruptors to build infrastructure that will power global quantum networks by 2026. This role offers unparalleled growth in one of the world's fastest-evolving technological frontiers.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-secure network architectures with zero-trust frameworks
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing environments for enterprise clients
- Lead integration of quantum key distribution (QKD) systems across global infrastructure
- Conduct stress testing and vulnerability analysis on quantum-resistant protocols
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum cryptography standards (NIST IR 8105)
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor connectivity
- Document quantum infrastructure specifications for regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Quantum Computing, Cryptography, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum communication protocols (QKD, E91)
- Expertise in quantum-resistant algorithms (CRYSTALS-Kyber, CRYSTALS-Dilithium)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for government quantum projects
- Published research in quantum networking or quantum error correction
- Familiarity with quantum hardware (ion traps, superconducting qubits)
