Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and photonic systems

- Implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computation
- Integrate quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows with existing cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with physicists to translate theoretical models into practical engineering solutions
- Lead security protocols for quantum-encrypted communication networks
- Document system specifications and create operational frameworks for quantum hardware
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum computing hardware (superconducting circuits, ion traps, or photonic systems)
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and ultra-low temperature system design
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Quipper)

- Proven track record in complex hardware integration and system optimization
