Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures operating at <20mK temperatures
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for 1,000+ qubit systems
- Lead cryogenic engineering teams to maintain sub-Kelvin environments
- Integrate quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Establish quantum security protocols for 2026-era networks
- Collaborate with NASA on quantum communication systems for deep space missions
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record building quantum systems with >500 qubits (e.g., IBM, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and superconducting circuit design
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
