We are seeking a visionary Senior 2D Animator & Motion Designer to join our elite creative team in Austin. In this role, you will collaborate with our art directors and product teams to create high-end animations for web, mobile, and social platforms. You will work in a fast-paced environment where creativity meets strategy, ensuring every pixel serves a purpose.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize & Design: Create storyboard sketches and detailed animation plans that align with project goals and brand guidelines.
- Motion Production: Produce high-quality 2D animations using After Effects and other industry-standard tools.
- Asset Management: Design and rig vector assets in Illustrator/Photoshop for seamless animation workflows.
- Client Collaboration: Present creative concepts to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback to ensure final deliverables exceed expectations.
- Sound Design: Collaborate with sound engineers to synchronize visuals with audio, enhancing the emotional impact of the content.
- Technical Optimization: Ensure animations are optimized for various platforms (web, mobile) without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in 2D animation, motion graphics, or graphic design.
- Software Proficiency: Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop) is mandatory. Experience with Cinema 4D or Toon Boom is a plus.
- Portfolio: A robust, updated portfolio showcasing a diverse range of motion graphics and animation styles.
- Visual Skills: Strong understanding of color theory, typography, and composition.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate creative ideas effectively.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
