Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 2D assets, including illustrations, icons, and UI graphics, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and design systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user requirements into visual solutions that enhance user experience and usability.
- Optimize 2D graphics for various platforms and devices, ensuring fast load times and scalability without compromising visual fidelity.
- Maintain and evolve the company's design system, ensuring consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers and junior designers to foster a culture of excellence.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies in the 2D design space.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a 2D Artist, Graphic Designer, or Visual Designer in a tech-focused environment.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Figma.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of 2D styles and the ability to work within a specific design system.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to non-design stakeholders.
- Experience with motion graphics or animation is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
