We are seeking a visionary Senior 2D Interaction Engineer to join our elite design and engineering team in San Francisco. In this role, you will be the architect behind our next-generation web interfaces, translating high-fidelity designs into fluid, performant, and visually stunning 2D experiences. Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance 2D interactive graphics using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Optimize rendering pipelines to ensure 60fps animations across all devices.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to implement pixel-perfect interactions.
- Create and maintain a robust internal library of 2D animation utilities and components.
- Debug complex rendering issues and implement solutions for cross-browser compatibility.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior frontend developers on best practices.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development with a focus on 2D graphics.
- Deep expertise in HTML5 Canvas, SVG, CSS3 animations, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of physics-based animations and motion design principles.
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
