Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance 2D interactive graphics using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Optimize rendering performance to ensure 60fps animations across all devices and browsers.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate complex visual concepts into scalable code.
- Build and maintain reusable 2D visualization libraries and component systems.
- Debug complex rendering issues and implement responsive design strategies for diverse screen sizes.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers in best practices for 2D web technologies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in web development with a focus on 2D graphics.
- Deep expertise in HTML5 Canvas, SVG manipulation, and CSS animations.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frameworks like React or Vue.js.
- Strong understanding of mathematics (linear algebra, trigonometry) for physics-based animations.
- Experience with performance profiling tools (Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse).
- Portfolio demonstrating complex 2D interactive projects or data visualizations.
