Responsibilities
- Lead AI Architecture: Design and implement scalable machine learning pipelines and infrastructure for large-scale data processing.
- Model Optimization: Research and apply state-of-the-art techniques (e.g., quantization, distillation) to optimize model performance and reduce latency.
- Production Deployment: Oversee the end-to-end deployment of AI models to cloud environments (AWS/GCP) with a focus on CI/CD automation and monitoring.
- R&D Leadership: Stay ahead of the curve in AI trends, specifically focusing on LLMs and reinforcement learning for the 2026 timeframe.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and data scientists to define technical requirements and translate business goals into technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering and machine learning.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and SQL.
- Cloud Proficiency: Strong experience deploying models on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, ambiguous engineering problems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
