Responsibilities
- Design and deploy advanced machine learning models and algorithms that drive core product innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of data scientists, product managers, and engineers to translate research into scalable production systems.
- Optimize existing AI pipelines for latency, throughput, and accuracy to ensure real-time performance.
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing and model evaluation to validate hypotheses and improve user engagement metrics.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices in AI architecture and deployment.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in AI/ML, researching emerging technologies such as Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) or Transformer models.
- Document technical specifications and architectural decisions to ensure system maintainability.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent extensive industry experience).
- 7+ years of professional experience in machine learning, AI, or deep learning engineering.
- Proven proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Strong experience with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Deep understanding of statistical modeling, NLP, or Computer Vision technologies.
- Track record of shipping production-level machine learning products from concept to deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
