Responsibilities
- Architect & Deploy: Design, train, and deploy scalable machine learning models and deep learning pipelines that handle millions of transactions per day.
- Optimization: Continuously optimize model inference speed and accuracy, reducing latency and resource consumption for real-time applications.
- Research & Innovation: Stay at the bleeding edge of AI research, integrating cutting-edge techniques (e.g., Transformers, Diffusion Models) into production environments.
- Collaboration: Partner with data scientists and software engineers to bridge the gap between research prototypes and production-ready software.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and data scientists, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Infrastructure: Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and ensure robust CI/CD pipelines for model deployment.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field (PhD preferred) with 5+ years of industry experience.
- Programming: Expert proficiency in Python and C++ with deep experience in frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Core Skills: Strong foundation in Linear Algebra, Calculus, and Statistics.
- NLP/LLM: Proven experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Model (LLM) fine-tuning or RAG implementation.
- Software Engineering: Experience designing microservices and APIs; familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Problem Solving: Ability to debug complex distributed systems and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks under pressure.
