Responsibilities
- Design and Architect: Lead the architectural design of hybrid quantum-classical systems optimized for next-gen AI workloads.
- System Optimization: Develop and implement algorithms that effectively utilize quantum gates and qubits to solve complex optimization problems.
- Integration: Integrate quantum processing units (QPUs) with classical cloud environments, ensuring seamless data flow and error mitigation.
- Prototype Development: Build rapid prototypes for internal research projects and external client demonstrations of future technologies.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership to junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and precision.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation and white papers to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders and the scientific community.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on machine learning, distributed systems, or high-performance computing.
- Quantum Knowledge: Demonstrated experience or deep theoretical understanding of quantum computing concepts (Qubits, Superposition, Entanglement, Quantum Gates).
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, C++, or Rust, with familiarity in quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex system-level issues and optimize performance under constraints.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical jargon into strategic business value.
