Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Read blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to determine layout of electrical systems.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Ensure that all work complies with local and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on electrical systems with minimal supervision.
- Conduct safety inspections and educate team members on safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety standards (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
