Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision (e.g., jackhammers, generators).
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Assistance: Provide support to skilled tradespeople such as carpenters and electricians as directed.
- Demolition: Perform light demolition and removal of waste materials when needed.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to Work: Must be available for night shifts (typically 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Availability: Must be able to work full-time hours and weekends if required.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and pay attention to safety protocols.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.
- Driver's License: A valid driverβs license is preferred but not mandatory.
