Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack construction materials, tools, and supplies on and off trucks.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and jackhammers (training provided).
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks including cutting, fitting, and assembly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by removing debris and complying with OSHA safety protocols.
- Perform general site preparation, including digging, tamping, and concrete finishing.
- Follow project blueprints and supervisor instructions to ensure high-quality workmanship.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team setting.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards is a plus.
