Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections on generators, transformers, and switchgear.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Respond to emergency electrical issues during night shifts with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to implement energy-saving solutions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuits, and power distribution.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work nights (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
