Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps using predictive analytics and horizon scanning
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging tech into 3-year product pipelines
- Author quarterly 'Futurescape' reports with strategic recommendations
- Build and manage an external expert network (academia, startups, VCs)
- Drive innovation sprints using design thinking and rapid prototyping
- Mentor junior futurists and establish thought leadership content
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Deep understanding of quantum, AI, biotech, and climate tech convergence
- Exceptional storytelling skills for executive audiences
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., AC/SCIP preferred)
