Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies, market shifts, and societal changes impacting 2026
- Develop quantitative and qualitative foresight models to forecast industry trajectories and competitive landscapes
- Design strategic frameworks for organizational adaptation to emerging megatrends (AI, quantum computing, climate resilience)
- Present actionable insights to executive stakeholders through compelling visual narratives and scenario planning
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author thought leadership publications and speak at global futurism conferences
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, scientists, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systemic risk assessment
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Cross-Impact Matrices)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, space)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex futures into business strategy
- Experience leading multicultural teams across global innovation ecosystems
- Published author in futurism or innovation journals
