Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026+
- Design strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market expansion using predictive modeling and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align organizational vision with future opportunities
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership to position Horizon Dynamics as an industry futurist authority
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track innovation maturity across business units
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype emerging solutions for market validation
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership roles
- Proven track record developing and executing multi-year future-state strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong background in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, or decentralized systems)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable insights
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, Business Strategy, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals preferred
