Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain predictive models for 2026 market landscapes, technology adoption curves, and socio-economic shifts
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to identify opportunities/threats in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Produce high-impact trend reports and visualizations for executive stakeholders and board members
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions aligned with 2026 forecasts
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring long-term strategic initiatives
- Mentor junior analysts in futurism methodologies and critical thinking
- Represent the company at global innovation conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, trend analysis, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting disruptive technologies with 85%+ accuracy
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking frameworks
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical modeling
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Experience with agile methodologies and rapid prototyping environments
