Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities for 2026+ market disruption
- Develop and maintain multi-year strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (quantum computing, bio-AI, decentralized systems)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state innovation priorities
- Author thought leadership publications and present at industry summits on next-gen tech implications
- Partner with product teams to prototype future-facing solutions with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting technology deployment in 2026 landscape
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure progress toward futuristic organizational goals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related technical field
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercialized solutions
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong network of relationships with global R&D institutions and tech pioneers
- Experience advising C-suite on technology disruption and adaptation strategies
- Prior publication in leading futurist/tech journals (e.g., Futures, MIT Tech Review)
