Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance inference pipelines for LLMs and Transformers.
- Optimize model architectures for latency, throughput, and memory efficiency using quantization and pruning techniques.
- Design Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to enhance model accuracy and reduce hallucinations.
- Collaborate with data scientists to curate high-quality training datasets and fine-tune foundation models.
- Ensure robust security and compliance standards for all deployed AI models.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
Qualifications
- PhD or MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, with specific focus on NLP or Generative AI.
- Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Experience with MLOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, AWS SageMaker).
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and parallel computing.
- Experience with CUDA and GPU optimization is highly preferred.
