Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local Jacksonville building codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layouts and wiring methods.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical panels, transformers, and distribution systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Educate junior apprentices and technicians on proper safety protocols and technical procedures.
- Ensure all job sites meet strict safety standards and OSHA regulations before, during, and after project completion.
- Estimate material and labor costs for new installations and repairs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating project timelines and status updates effectively.
Qualifications
- Valid State of Florida Journeyman Electrician License.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Proficiency with modern diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.
