Responsibilities
- Architect Neural Protocols: Design and implement low-latency, high-bandwidth data transmission protocols for next-gen neural headsets and cortical implants.
- Firmware Optimization: Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize firmware for real-time signal processing and error correction in dynamic environments.
- AI Integration: Integrate machine learning models to interpret neural patterns, ensuring seamless interaction between biological intent and digital execution.
- System Validation: Lead rigorous testing protocols to ensure safety, efficacy, and regulatory compliance for all neural augmentation systems.
- Cross-Disciplinary Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with neuroscientists and UX designers to translate complex biological data into intuitive user experiences.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Neuroscience, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Bioinformatics.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in embedded systems, FPGA programming, or BCI development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in C++, Python, and real-time operating systems (RTOS); experience with signal processing libraries (MATLAB, NumPy).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a deep passion for the ethical implications of human enhancement technology.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in our San Francisco innovation hub.
