Responsibilities

- Optimize quantum circuits for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices to maximize computational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists, software engineers, and data scientists.
- Conduct research on quantum error mitigation and fault-tolerant computing architectures.
- Mentor junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Stay at the forefront of quantum computing advancements, publishing papers and presenting at industry conferences.
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent extensive experience).
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on algorithms and data structures.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (e.g., AWS Braket, IBM Quantum Experience).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
