In this position, you will bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical software engineering, working on scalable quantum solutions that will power the next generation of enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize quantum algorithms for complex data classification, optimization, and simulation tasks.
- Design and implement advanced error mitigation strategies to enhance qubit coherence and reliability.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to integrate quantum processors into hybrid cloud architectures.
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the academic community through peer-reviewed publications.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of quantum software stacks, including Qiskit, Cirq, and PyQuil.
- Translate theoretical research into production-ready code and scalable frameworks.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics with a strong focus on quantum computing.
- 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or computational physics, with a demonstrated portfolio of quantum projects.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Q#.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics fundamentals.
- Proven track record of publishing research in high-impact journals or conferences (e.g., QIP, APS).
