Job Description
Shape the Future with Project 2026
Are you ready to define the technological landscape of 2026? Nexus 2026 Solutions is at the forefront of the quantum revolution, developing next-generation computing architectures that will solve humanity's most complex problems. We are looking for a visionary Senior Quantum Software Engineer to join our elite engineering team and drive the implementation of our flagship quantum algorithms.
In this role, you won't just write code; you will architect the future of computation. You will work with state-of-the-art quantum hardware and contribute to a roadmap that aims to redefine industry standards by the year 2026. If you possess a deep understanding of quantum mechanics and a passion for scalable software design, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize complex quantum algorithms tailored for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical software implementation.
- Build robust quantum simulators and runtime environments to support our experimental roadmap.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of quantum code to ensure error mitigation and high fidelity.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the technical vision of Project 2026.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in quantum computing and integrate new methodologies into our stack.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years specifically in quantum computing or high-performance computing.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles, including superposition, entanglement, and quantum gates.
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum, Google Cloud).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.
