Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers for high-volume transactional systems.
- Collaborate with data architects and backend engineers to ensure data consistency, integrity, and security across the enterprise.
- Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to ensure sub-millisecond response times.
- Lead the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud-native database architectures (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS).
- Develop and maintain robust ETL pipelines for data warehousing and business intelligence reporting.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices for database design.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Senior SQL Developer with deep expertise in SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Strong understanding of database normalization, indexing strategies, and query optimization techniques.
- Experience with cloud database services (Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
