Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and earthwork tasks with precision
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment safely
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and installation
- Perform concrete pouring, finishing, and formwork setup
- Maintain job site cleanliness, waste management, and OSHA compliance
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements
- Participate in daily safety briefings and hazard mitigation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial/construction labor experience required
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Experience with concrete finishing and scaffolding a plus
