Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and material handling at construction sites
- Operate hand/power tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation and structural work
- Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Participate in daily team briefings and project planning sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification required
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety-first practices
- Ability to read construction blueprints and follow written instructions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
