Responsibilities
- Execute precise site preparation, excavation, and material handling tasks
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and power tools
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Maintain equipment functionality through daily inspections and basic maintenance
- Assist carpenters and masons with specialized construction activities
- Ensure clean, organized job sites throughout project phases
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain
- Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and construction machinery
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and heights
