Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts) under certified supervision
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and environmental standards
- Collaborate with skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians) on integrated projects
- Inspect and maintain tools/equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Assist in concrete work, framing, and finishing operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years verified construction labor experience
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement calculation skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Experience with MIG/TIG welding or concrete finishing preferred
