Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople on active construction sites
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Perform general cleanup and material handling duties
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in outdoor heat
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic tool operation knowledge (hammers, saws, levels)
- Strong communication skills in English/Spanish
- Flexible availability Saturdays & Sundays (6AM-4PM)
