Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) on complex builds
- Operate power tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Assist in blueprint interpretation and quality control inspections
- Maintain job site cleanliness and proper waste disposal
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Experience with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Ability to read basic blueprints and measurements
- Must be able to work nights/weekends for project deadlines
