Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) under certified supervision
- Construct and install concrete forms, scaffolding, and safety barriers
- Perform demolition work with precision and adherence to OSHA protocols
- Assist skilled tradespersons with plumbing, electrical, and framing tasks
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper waste management
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or related labor experience preferred
- Valid O-10 card or ability to obtain within 30 days
- OSHA 10-hour certification (training provided)
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Strong safety awareness and PPE compliance record
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Minneapolis metro
- Pass pre-employment background and drug screening
