Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with site preparation and cleanup
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction tasks accurately
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work sites
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery with proper certifications
- Participate in scaffold erection/dismantling and concrete pouring operations
- Complete daily progress reports and collaborate with site supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero-tolerance for absenteeism
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and follow safety protocols
- Willingness to travel between Boston and NY project sites
