Responsibilities
- Assist project managers and site supervisors with daily operations.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Operate basic construction machinery, such as forklifts and skid steers (certification preferred).
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations strictly to ensure site safety.
- Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment as directed by supervisors.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Must be physically able to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
- Basic reading and math skills required for measuring and material tracking.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred but not always mandatory for entry-level roles.
- High School Diploma or GED is a plus but not strictly required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Reliable transportation to the job site is required.
