Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and transport them to work sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks on the job site.
- Perform general cleanup of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and compressors (if certified).
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure personal and site safety.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials according to blueprints and project specifications.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (extreme heat, cold, rain).
- Basic reading and math skills for following instructions and measurements.
- Previous construction experience is a plus, but on-the-job training is provided.
