Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and code-compliant wiring in commercial and industrial settings.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine layout of electrical systems.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure safety and compliance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentices and junior technicians.
- Maintain accurate logs of work performed and materials used.
- Ensure all job sites are clean, organized, and safe at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license required (PA/OH preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial/residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and physical stamina for field work.
- Reliable transportation to multiple job sites.
