Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site safely.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision (e.g., jackhammers, saws).
- General Labor: Perform various manual tasks including digging, mixing concrete, and assisting skilled tradespeople.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe by adhering to strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Quality Control: Help ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Availability: Willingness to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and a history of punctual attendance.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Experience: Prior construction experience is a plus, but we are happy to train motivated candidates.
